ES-Tec is increasingly relying on virtual testing methods to make its development processes more efficient, safer, and cost-effective. During a visit from IPG Automotive GmbH to our premises, we were able to experience firsthand how simulation-based methods are revolutionizing traditional approaches.
Thanks to the innovative software and hardware solutions from IPG Automotive, it is possible to simulate numerous traffic scenarios on open grounds without the need for physical obstacles. In these test scenarios, the Vehicle Under Test (VUT) responds to the simulated and programmed obstacles with realistic behavior. This enables comprehensive validation of functions—from the concept phase to series production.
Special focus is placed on the development and testing of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous driving, electromobility, and driving dynamics. Simulation-based development not only streamlines daily testing routines but also significantly enhances process safety.
